This single-storey brick ranch home in Wilmington had two roofs to deal with: the pitched shingle roof over the house and the low-slope roof over the attached carport. We stripped the main roof down to the original plank deck, replaced the damaged boards with new plywood, and re-decked the whole carport in new plywood.
The house now has new grey architectural shingles with a ridge vent and shingle caps, new pipe boots, and a new boot around the electrical service mast. The carport got a new white flat membrane roof that ties into the shingle roof. Old shingles went into a dump trailer on site.
